AJR Concert

Yo what is up my peoples! My name is Jared and I love music. I’m going to be a music therapist after high school. I went to an AJR concert in September and it was the funnest thing I’ve ever done. The bass from the speakers at the arena was so powerful it literally shook the building. I had front row seats too. The opening act was heckin amazing too, you probably haven’t heard of her unless you listen to indie pop. It was Tessa Violet, if you want a taste of her music her new album came out like a month ago. It’s called “Crush”.

AJR is one of the best artists/band in my opinion. I’m sure if you guys would try them out you would very much enjoy them. They are a band more on the “pop” side but not really. I don’t know what genre to really classify them.

TSO

TSO or better known as Trans-Siberian-Orchestra. Is a Christmas rock group. That did shows around Christmas time. I used to go to their shows every year in Salt Lake, but I haven’t gone in a while because their show writer died. ANd they decided not to do shows anymore.

One time I went they were selling giant informative books about their group in the last year they did shows. I got that book signed by every member. I talked to the drummer and told him I played the drums too, and he said that was cool. So I felt pretty good afterwards.

TSO’s shows were amazing. They were full of lights, lasers, fire, fog, and noise. THeir shows were so loud. If they ever start doing shows again I HIGHLY recommend going to one

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is a punk rock band. They are my favorite punk rock band. My Chemical Romance-or MCR- is from Newark, New Jersey. The current lineup of members consists of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Lero, and bassist Mikey Way.

The reason why MCR is my favorite because their music has so much going on inside it. Thhere’s tons of cool effects and the lead singers tone and voice just sounds so good.

For there only being 5 members it just amazes me how they can pull it off. Like hows there so much going on with only 5 of you.

YUNGBLUD

YUNGBLUD is an emo/punk rock/Alternaytive rock/hip hop artist. His music talks about how he personally feels towards different things in this world for example his song “hope for the underrated youth” talks about his personal views that there IS hope for the youth of this world and that you should give up. He sings about this because he went through the same things that a lot of teens go through like abusive parents, depression, and anxiety.

YUNGBLUD’s real name is Dominic Richard Harrison. He was born in Doncaster, United Kingdom on August 5, 1997 (22 years old). Did you know that he used to be A DISNEY ACTOR!?!?! I had no clue until I wrote this.

To end this YUNGBLUD is by far my favorite punk rock artist. His music is explicit which will bother some people. His music flows so well for being rock. His accent makes his music even better.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is my favorite band ever. Unlike most bands they don’t have a single “bad” song, just some songs are better than others. Linkin Park is considered a “Nu Metal” band and I have no clue what that means but whatever it means it’s good.

Linkin Park’s most listened to song is “Numb” and I highly suggest a listen. It talks about how we grow “numb” to things and how we start to feel lost and empty. It says that we need to be ourselves and try not to be other people or be like them.

If you didn’t already know, Linkin Park’s lead singer Chester Bennington killed himself on July 20, 2017. It was a hard day. not only me but for millions around the world. In order to honor his memory (which I think is the opposite of what they should’ve done) they decided to not make anymore music as a band with that name. Chester was a legend, and Linkin Park was a legend. They are both still legends.

Witt Lowry

Witt Lowry is an amazing artist. He said that he works on his music until he thinks it’s absolutely perfect. That’s why his albums/singles take so long to be released. Just like Call Me Karizma you can literally hear/feel the emotion in his music.

Witt is a rap artist that’s music is so perfect, for certain audiences. He raps about his personal feelings, and how you should never give up. The average lengths to write his songs is about 1 month per song.

I highly recommend listening to him. He is so, so good.

Call Me Karizma

Call Me Karizma is an emo rap artist. Who is my opinion the best emo rap artist I’ve listened to. He’s unlike most artists I’ve ever heard. You can literally feel and hear the emotion in his music.

His songs talk about real world problems that need to be addressed. For example, in one his songs entitled “Johnny” he sings about how school shootings are caused by mental illness and we need to focus on people struggling instead of shunning them.

In the end I highly suggest that you listen to him, whenever you can. You will be changed for the better.

Why Do People Got to Judge Music So Heavily

I probably shouldn’t be writing this because I’m so biased, but that shouldn’t matter. I just don’t understand why people got to hate on certain songs so much because it swears or because they don’t like the beat/melody. That shouldn’t matter you should judge a song based on how it makes you feel.

Music isn’t about the melody. People write music to express their feelings, and to tell people what it’s really like. I also hate how people say white people can’t rap. If you have ever listened to a black person rap VS A WHITE person white people can rap so much better. I say that because all black people seem to rap about is drugs, sex, and money, while white people rap about life, and feelings. I mean some white people rap about drugs sex and money but most of the time they don’t. I’m not writing this to be racist I’m just saying straight facts.

Image result for eminem — Eminem started his career rapping about drugs, sex, and money, and people loved him because of it. Now all he raps about is life and other emotional things, and people hate him for it. I don’t see why you should hate someone for cleaning up their life.

Anyways I’m done ranting now. Go enjoy your life and take my advice and judge songs based on how they make you feel.

Wassup my name is Jared and i guess I’m a blogger now, hahaha. I absolutely love music. It’s the most important thing in my life right before friends and video games of course. I like to go to concerts but don’t usually get the opportunity because the artists I usually listen are small so their concerts are usually pretty far. If you are ever in need of good music tell me.

I love how music affects the brain. I think it’s so interesting how when you’re feeling depressed, a depressing song can make you happy or it can make you more depressed. So i aspire to be a music therapist, and yes that’s a real thing.
